Vera Dusk started making music as a way to stay awake. Struggling with insomnia through her early twenties, she found herself layering vocals and guitar loops at 3am in her Orlando apartment, building songs she never expected anyone else to hear. The music became a ritual—headphones on, lights off, the glow of a laptop screen the only company.

She taught herself production by trial and error, chasing sounds she heard in her head but couldn't find anywhere else.

Her debut album Soft Collision is the result of years of those late nights: ten tracks that drift between hazy shoegaze and intimate R&B, exploring the blur between desire and distance, presence and memory.

She rarely performs live and has no social media presence to speak of. The music is the whole story.
